It was a bit over two months since the two of you went out, although you wouldn't really call wathing his basketball practice (what you would to do anyway, to keep Momoi company), and grabbing a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant a big first date, but hey, at least he tried. And yes, to everyone’s surprise, Aomine Daiki turned out to be a decent boyfriend, who’d make your bad days not so bad with his idiotism, which would actually make you laugh here and there.

“Hey, (f/n)” Aomine talked to you, making you raise your head in his direction, “Why are you so gloomy?” “These a) b) c) d) questions are killing me, the answers all look the same.” You went back to your homework, silently sulking.
“The answer is always c.” Aomine said, his voice echoing with confidence in his words.
“Why are you so sure, Ahomine?” he sounded way too sure that you’d ever believe him.

“Are you just saying the first thing that comes to your mind?” You raised your eyebrow at the sudden silence.
“Noo?” he said with a little less confidence this time.

“I do!” his confidence was back, “Because a house is on the ground and a tree can levitate!”
“Not even close you dummy” you laughed at his confused look, “Well at least you made my day a bit better.” He smiled at you and patted your head. “That’s good.”

You mobile phone vibrated in your pocket, signalizing an incoming call. As you looked at the screen you saw it was Momoi. “Sup Satsuki-chan,” you answered the phone cheerfully, today was a good day for you. “I was just going to buy myself something to eat; you want me to get you something?” “Emm no thanks, already bought myself something. Anyway, have you seen Dai-chan? He’s missing the extra practice again. Will you look for him? Of course you will. Start at the school roof. O.K. bye.” With that she hung up.

Of course he’d be at the school roof, where he found a place where no one would see him, so he could dream away the day. It didn’t take you long to reach the school gate, and then the roof, where he was snoring slowly, and his ‘magazine’ lying next to him. “Dai-chan, wake up,” you whispered to his ear and poked his arm lightly. He opened his eyes a little.

“Hmm? (f/n), is that you? What are you doin’ here?” “Satsuki-chan is looking for ya; she says you’re missing practice. Again. Seriously, she’s gonna burn your magazines if you keep that up.” His hands went straight to the magazine next to him, holding it tightly. “No way!” He looked like a kid who’s been threatened with a loss of candy. He was almost adorable.

“Yes way, so get your but to the gym, Ahomine.” You grabbed his arm to try to drag him out of his place, but he was stronger than you so he pulled you to himself, giving you a hug. “But I missed you (f/n)-chaaan, don’t make me go, it’s just footwork, and you know you wanna cuddle rather than watch me shoot some hoops. And don’t you try threaten me with burning my magazines, I saw you reading them.” His lips formed a grin with every word he said.

“I d-didn’t read t-them, I was j-just, y-you know, and the m-magazine opened, a-and I-” “You’re a terrible little liar (l/n), but that’s all right, I forgive you, you naughty girl.”

“Shut up, A-Ahomine, you pervert, and enough of hugging, come on!”
“All right, all right, but you have to go home with me, I wanna watch a movie or something.”

“You just want to skip practice and cuddle more, am I right?” Aomine just looked at you with the ‘obviously’ written all over his face. You let out a sigh before talking again. “Fine, let’s go to your place, but let me text Satsuki-chan that I couldn’t find you first. Kami I feel bad for lying to her.” “Come on, I’ll replace that bad feeling when you’ll be watching a movie with me, I know you want it.” He even added a wink to it. ‘That man can really be annoying at times’ you thought to yourself.

Let’s just say that it didn’t take Momoi a lot to figure that you’d both be skipping practice.

His sleeping face was calm, and his eye would twitch sometimes if he had a dream. You adjusted yourself to feel more comfortable with his heavy arm around you, and fell asleep as well.
