Description A stairway to a monument in London. Running up was pretty hardcore but I'm not the kind of guy who has problems with steep slopes or stairs

It resembles a fossil of an ammonite (a kind of marine invertebrate dwelling the oceans millions of years ago). It's also pretty similar to the shape some people associate with time. Some say it's a circle, others think it's a straight line and finally, there is a group of persons who understand it as a spiral.
So much for the romantic schemes, the third of which I like the most
I'm not going to write what I think about time, taking the scientific point of view, as it would be incredibly boring and stupid ;]

The exposure was not that easy as I had to keep my camera in my hands fully extended. It was pretty dark in there also. Taking about 10 shots like this made it possible to come up with one that was hardly blurred ^^

Enjoy

Did you ever see la sagrada familia in Barcelona ?
Same kind of stair, same sense of vertigo

I've never been there. I've seen pictures taken from the outside. It's famous for its architecture, Gaudi's true masterpiece.

Very nice shot. Where was it?
I don't think i'd be game enough to do that with my camera, though it would be interesting to see it at the bottom if it fell!

Because it is incredible. It would be even more fantastic if there were less tall buildings around it.
It's worth visiting

It's a great shot.
It doesn't sound like or look like an easy shot.
And thanks for not giving a speach of the scientific explanation of time.

Lol, don't even get me started with dimensions and time being the fourth one

Well, what makes this shot a little bit unique is the crappy lighting
Thousands of people take photos in there but a few take 50 at a time. My 49 shots were blurred and 1 is OK
That's the charm of places where you just can't use a tripod

Spirals are intriguing. It's one of the most interesting shapes nature has formed. It has something of a straight, infinite line and a perfect circle. Spirals appear in the shape of shells, DNA chains. I think they show the rythm of the world pretty well.
