it took me HOURS but now I proudly present my very own avatar which I made without copying parts of movie scenes, it's all handmade, using 1 other photo I did of my eye and one photo of feathers I specially did for this. phew! enjoy

*changed feather color and blurred them, removed some white dots under the nose that looked.. strange

i liquified my own nose, darkened the end of it through a selection and dodged some parts of it to plasticize it, i think that was basically it

thanks, um, I inserted a better picture of my eye, liquified it, dodged and burned it, played with different colors through selections.. yeah, just trying around till I liked it. Had a referencepicture from the movie to see how it should be in the end..

thanks, um, actually there was a lot of trial-and-error, the eye was very hard to do, took a lot of experimenting, so, it's hard for me to point out step by step how I did it..

I think this picture made me realize that while theyre eyes are slightly bigger than ours, Its the iris of their eye that is HUGE. Theyre eye balls themselves are only marginally bigger. But we have a lot more white in our eye than they do.
