Hey Peeps. Just wanted to post a little message. Was going to do this in a journal, but decided to do a quick picture for it instead.

Historically, when I've been alerted to someone posting my artwork on DeviantArt I'll leave a comment on the picture and ask that the user take down my work, rather than having to take the time to file a DMCA complaint. Unfortunately, I've always had to resort to the latter.

I'm not going to go into all the specifics of what has recently occurred. But it has resulted in a great deal of backlash from art thieves who feel they have been treated unjustly by DA and myself. Now they accuse me of stealing my own artwork -- yes, you've heard that correctly. Needless to say, I've blocked 6 people in 6 years on DA, this past month alone I've had to block an additional 6.

My Lady Tsunade piece is not my most popular piece, but it is by far my most stolen. I've resigned to the fact that there is a pretty good chance my fanart is going to be taken and posted on other sites. And as long as I post artwork on the internet, there is no way I can truly keep that from happening. Though I don't give permission for others to use my work, I do at least ask that people have the decency to not edit out an artist's signature. Someone stealing your work is one thing, being accused of stealing it because someone removed your signature and put their own is just plain offensive. And it results in making artists have to put big ugly watermarks on their work. Art theft is why we can't have nice things.

Anywho, no other news to report. I suffered a sports injury last month that resulted in a severe sprained ankle and a broken tailbone. So I wasn't able to sit comfortably till about a week ago. Sorry for being so scare. I've been thinking about watching Shingeki No Kyojin, but I've been getting indentated with gifs, fanart, game play for it lately, and that's kind of turned me off to it. I did enjoy watching Ouran Host Club, Fruits Basket and BBC's Sherlock Holmes while I was laid up.
