Turncoat: a person who changes to the opposite party or faction, reverses principles, etc.; renegade.Another piece for my turncoat series. I've got the bug to draw some fanart again and it was a lot of fun drawing these two. I tried to make them both look cool ... though I'm more partial to Gai. Big surprise.
Usually when I get an idea for fanart, I do a search to make sure someone else hasn't done the concept already. I didn't really do it with this one, so hopefully it hasn't been done before.

it still looks like a bear to me lol but still cool. and these two are crazy strong by themselves, but as a team they're unstoppable! so them being partners in Akatsuki i'm sure Konoha would be terrified to face them head on... though i'm sure Naruto and Lee would try to get them back on the good side.
or they both could be faking it (and only Tsunade would now) in order to spy on the Akatsuki from the inside...

woooooow very late comment but here I am! XD definately a much different look for the two of them! Gai's glowing eyes are pretty unerving I'd imagine any enemy would feel the same XD And Kakashi's face mask is freaky...in a good way XD definately not something I would have expected but for the turncoat series it works perfectly!

They both make me think of Mortal Kombat for some reason. Kakashi reminds me of SubZero with the way his mask is done and the blue wolf that almost looks like it's done with ice (though I assume it's lightning). Gai reminds me of Liu Kang when he was a zombie (though nothing about Gai looks zombie like), because of the red headwrap thingy (I'm not sure what they're called) and the way his eyes glow green.

Now my head is spinning with cute little scenes of Gai and Kakashi traveling around as Akatsuki partners (aka Deidara/Tobi moments) being hilarious and awesome (also smexy)!
The pic is delightfully electric and engaging. Your lighting effects are so eyecatching! Especially love your twist on Kakashi's mask and the play on our favorite Beast of Konaha! This pic just radiates bad ass menace.

Yush. I love the way their chakra glows, making you focus much more on the guys. And good job on the glow...I like glow! I can actually picture a battle between them and someone else.
