Description The Drone and Col. Tsubame Hirohito.

F-37 Kite drone fighter is built on the F-17G frame with advancements like Morphodynamic aeroelastic wings, Dynamic flight control, Electroactive polymer hydraulics, Enhanced Radar, Bio-neural electronics, passive stealth enhancements, lighter materials, combined cycle rotating detonation afterburning plasma drive scramjet engine, energy absorbing polymer shell, 20mm rapid fire beam cannons and a 40mm nose mounted heavy beam cannon

Crew: 1
Length: 15m
Wingspan: 12.4m
Height: 4.6m
Wing area: 32m²
Empty weight: 3,000 kg
Loaded weight: 7,000 kg
Max takeoff weight: 22,000 kg
Powerplant: 1× Horten P101-50x combined cycle rotating detonation aftetburning plasma drive scramjet engine with 3D heat reducing vectored thrust paddles.
Dry thrust: 210kN
Thrust with afterburner: 381kN
Internal fuel: 12000kg

Morphodynamic Aeroelastic wings:
Remove control surfaces which require motors and actuators, instead the wing itself bends and morphs. Wings twist and flex to achieve the desired effects.

Electroactive Polymer Hydraulics:
The Hydraulics are more like muscles that respond to an electrical current removing the need for heavy liquids and pumps.

Bio-neural Electronics:
An organic interconnected weave of electronics and sub-processing ganglia replace the normal heavy metal electrical wiring. Faster response times and more fluid reflexive actions are noted.

Energy Absorbing Polymer Shell:
This heat resistant plasticine coating absorbs Radar, IR and UV light adds to stealth and gives the plane a smooth finish which improves aerodynamics.

Active plasma stealth system
In adit ion to plane form alignment and radar absorbing materials an active plasma stealth shield was added.

AN-PSA-54 Multichannel AESA radar
Distributive Apature System
Rear AN-PSA-20 Dual data Bus warning Radar

In the trials the choice to go with drone pilots was simply a matter of cost. A drone was less than a third of the cost of training and billeting a pilot. Tsubame outscored the drone on almost every test except high G engagement but was able to beat a drone 7 times in a row when faced head to head. Her reason was, "That a drone is not able to think beyond its programing." The drone lacks creative thought and was predictable, because of this the F-37 was required to have a functional cockpit and a plug in drone.
The main drawback of the Kite is the lack of a G-reducing inertial dampener. It was believed that the drone would not need one so it was omitted, although the Drone can easily pull the planes 20 G maneuvers, pilot are limited by their ability.

For her efforts Col. Hirohito was allowed to name the plane. She named it "Kite."

Thanks, it was a chore to do the intake. Some things don't really translate well. Makes me wish I could do it as a Render.
