I remember this scene so well. I loved this story as a child, so it's awesome to find art of it, especially art as fantastic as this.

One of my favorite stories ever. Kipling was an equally kooky guy, too. Did a research project on him.

Yeah I've heard some rather interesting facts about him. I've always loved the Jungle Book. This story stuck with me as a kid, and just had to try my hand at illustrating it.

Dummerston, Vermont, in a house he built called "Naulakha". It's now a National Historic Landmark.

He got his own post office, too.
