This really is cute!
I love it when an artist does something in a picture that instantly *works*, and I can't figure out why, and then when I take a closer look to try and figure it out, it turns out to be something technically nonsensical. I got it with the several coloured shadows. They make a kind of pastel rainbow image behind the character and add a wonderful accent to all of that pink, contrasting and accentuating it. But technically... why would a girl have several rainbows, in those colours, arranged like that.
