" wHAT?!", he screamed on the top of his lungs, smoke and ashes burting from the sides of his mouth.
As soon as she saw the god screech, the way his humane facial proportions contorted and the fire-y wings sprouted from his back, she knew she had made the right choice.
And yet it felt so wrong.
" AFTER ALL I DID FOR YOU-", Borah raged on, " I RID YOUR WAY OF ALL WHO OPPOSED YOU, OF ALL WHO EVER HARMED YOU", he contined.
Hibiki frowned a bit.
Even if she didn't love Borah the way he had wanted her to, she had wanted this to end differently. She had hoped she would be wrong, that he wasn't unstable, emotional and incapable of controlling himself. But seeing him like this, even though she knew he'd never hurt her, there was no doubt he would have it hard accepting her rejection.
