It’s safe to say the age-continuity between MLP:FiM and Equestria Girls is... really bad. Like, why are the Mane Six in high school? They’re at least in their twenties as ponies. And the CMC are somehow only two-three years younger than them when they’re supposed to still be in elementary/middle school! Did Sunset and Twilight magically turn younger when they stepped through the portal? That seems a little odd lol
So I’ve decided to scrap Canterlot High School as a whole and transform it into... Canterlot College! The Mane Six were all students there during the course of the EG movies, while the CMC were still in middle school. Instead of taking a “school field trip” to Camp Everfree, they volunteered there during summers (which is how Pinkie met - and later married - Timber).
