Lyn sat down on a couch at the edge of the room, sweat beading on her skin from dancing all night. She laid back for a minute then suddenly remembered her "plus ones". leaning forward she lazily slipped her heel out of her shoe and dangled it from her toes to look at the bloodied sole.
"I can't believe I never thought to put tinies in my shoes before. Even dancing in these heels feels great with you in there. I'll have to make this a new punishment; having to clean you off my soles should scare the other bugs into being useful. Anyway, I'm done dancing so I'm taking off these shoes. If you're still alive down there you're free to enjoy the rest of the party, or at least, as much as you can from inside a fishnet."
Unbeknownst to her, they were still alive, though barely. They had been stomped on, drenched in sweat, and otherwise crushed all night but Lyn's feet were too soft to flatten them completely. They were relieved to be out of her shoes but, they were still held against her feet, face first into the stench until she stumbled her way out of the party after a few glasses of wine. Her tipsy steps landed hard on their broken bodies and forced them into her sole as they finally popped.
