Exactly! I wait all year for these beauties to bloom. They only last a day so it's always a privilege to see one in bloom.

There is some fragrance, but they are mostly all about looks with those huge white petals and bright yellow and green centers. They are so amazing! They only bloom once beginning at night and usually only last the day. If it is sunny and warm outside they will fade even faster! You have to have good timing to be able to capture one in bloom so it's always rather exciting when you do.

I wait anxiously each year for these Giant Argentine cactus to bloom. Unfortunately, these flowers only last about 1 day so I have to have perfect timing or I will miss them!
