Wild asses have colors kind of like that. Not Christmas colors, obviously, but similar markings on the legs, back, and ears.
Pardon the a-word. That's what they're called. A wild ass is different from a wild donkey. I wasn't referring to the inappropriate use of the a-word.

I know. It has a dual meaning much like the word bitch (which can refer to a female dog [original meaning] or despicable person [the bad word comes in]), in my opinion, the was nothing wrong with these words until people started using them as insults or in a rude manner.

The stripes make it look like a zebroid rather than a donkey.

It's actually supposed to be an African Wild Ass or a donkey with zebra stripes. I had to say donkey, though, because "ass" is a bad word. People would think I was talking about the other a-word.
