So at MegaCon I found this adorable little cutie~!
He came from The Midsummer Knight's Dream booth, which sells these little shoulder puppets, including ones that can also perch on your finger, though those are exclusive to the birds from what I saw. (They had wolves, a fox, cats, birds, griffins, dragons, bats, giant owls, everything + they do the most amazing customs)

They give you adoption papers and everything to fill out when you buy them. My Woodbaby is a Dormouse, and I've named him Daryl.

He's able to sit on my shoulder via a very strong magnet (The one in the picture but just flipped the other way so the metal shows, I just stuck him on like that for a better picture). His head also moves up/down and left/right with the use of a long wire that comes out from under the tail and leads to a little metal cylinder (twisting it makes the head turn left/right) + another little mechanism that you push down or pull him (for the head to go up/down). Each of them are handmade, and not a single one isn't unique.

The adoption also comes with a warranty (that only covers manufacturer damage (say the wire wasn't working at all when you got it), and if it's damaged but it isn't covered by the warranty (you break it by accident, something stops working), you can have them repair it but for a fee, but they will gladly fix it for you or update your puppet if they make new mechanisms (other than the current magnet on the shoulder method)

He was the best $48 I spent. XD The smaller / less diverse the creature the less the price seems to be, as it considerably jumps from a small $48 to $200-300 depending on what you want, especially with customs.

The vendors were very nice and quick with the purchase, and I'm definitely considering saving up for a custom fox one day. These little guys are definitely worth the money <3
