Perhaps you're just more in the mood for one or another currently, and that'll change. I've noticed many artists that get bursts of inspiration for specific characters then gradually move onto others they own as what they want to draw most changes. I'm sure most of your bebs will get due love and attention in time <3
and gosh, I'm just infinitely happy you cherish her so! I don't think I've had a single other design I've made get so thoroughly loved as she is >w<ย

I've just haven't been in the mood to draw in general, well besides random doodles I do here and there.
They both have been doodled though!! Haha. I do love Niabi, she's super gorgeous and oddly enough have had people ask to buy her from me - Like no, she is mine. Haha. I also love Iruko! I doodle him just as often, I want to get better as drawing his face!
You make such beautiful designs, so its sad to see that the others aren't often seen. ;n;

I can't sew or do anything craft like due to medical reasons, that and to be honest I really don't want to sew or have anything to do with it. Lol.
Same! Deer's have gained some popularity though, that and the color pallet you picked to create her is very beautiful! Browns and blues. <3

There's so many of your designs you sold that I personally love, and wish I had a chance to own since it makes me sad to see not see them around. ;n; I guess I understand though since I have many characters I haven't drawn myself, but I try to rehome those characters since I really hate to see characters rot.

you're one of a kind in that regard, I'll tell ya that. I hate to see bebs rot, though I get a lot of people reselling super old adopts from me, so perhaps some are getting better homes! or hopefully sold bebs are being sketched or written about even if it doesn't get posted. One can hope anyhow~!

Same! Though I don't think anything will take the popularity of canines from the fandom, but it made me happy to see more deer characters and suits. ^^
Sadly, a lot of the characters I've rehomed I haven't seen since, minus one deer I bought from I sold it to someone I knew because they liked the design, and they did draw it/got art of it but they randomly left dA and FA and both of their accounts are deactivated so I don't know where they went. ;n; Sadly that's how it works though, when you sell designs that is. I just think some people buy designs especially as some sort of status symbol or just because they don't want others to have it. I don't know, but its just sad to see designs no longer be seen once bought.

very true! But things can always pop up to take fourth or fifth place as far as popularity is concerned lol
Canines, Cats, and Dragons (or a hybrid of 2+ those) all seem to be the top dogs currently (no pun intended) but I've seen things like Red Pandas, Deer, Bats, and other challengers get pretty high in the ranks, or at least often drawn/crafted owo
I'd say a fair amount likely do, especially with closed species and high-demand designers. A fair amount are also impulse buys I'm sure. And who knows where ones go that people want to keep private *shrugs* I hate to see designs get neglected though, but hmmhmhm I can't always say for sure whether they're being cared for based on art posted alone. All the same, it's sad when people do just get them as currency or a status symbol, and that is undeniably a common occurrence :C

Going by the furry fandom hyenas are actually gaining popularity here recently more so compared to red pandas, deers, bats, ect - also Angel Dragons/Dutch Angel Dragons which out of all the created species, those ones seem to be the most popular - I think a lot has to do with Ino (or telephone) being such a well known/popular suiter and because they are open.ย This is just going by the furry fandom though and the amount of suits I see of different animals (excluding canine and felines but dragons and hyrbids are also very popular it seems, oh same with otters I do see a lot of those lurking). Sabres have also gained a small popularity.
You know I've never thought of people using a character just to gain more currency to it. I hope that wouldn't be the case, since I buy art of a character I love but then end up either needing money or losing interest in the character (case with Toka). Though you are right that some people would buy art of a character just to be able to sell it for more. That's sad.
