a very very very long while back, *Shanol asked if I would do a trade... well about a year and a half later, (After a million redos and procrastinating eons) here it is... though it took me so long I doubt you remember, so let's just say this is a gift art
Shanol's beautiful character shio, looking particularly pleased in the midst of hundreds of corpses (probably his own doing). I just hope I did him justice x.x

if there's one thing that personifes shio, it's his twisted, gnarled lanky-ness, which you captured perfectly with all the kinks in his pose. (i'd love to see this thing's skeleton, ha.)
oh and of course the soulless eyes and devilish grin.

(betcha his skeleton would look like a long-legged snake with a stretched out face and wicked claws or something along those lines. emphasis on the snake part)

I love the face, and that wicked grin and that look in the eye.
Your coloring is seriously amazing, its so smooth, and I love the soft highlights.
Also that fur detail is gorgeous! I love how soft and smooth it is.
The slight background really ties the whole image together.

I'm always impressed with your pencil work (fur technique) and character designs/posing. This is such a dark and mysterious piece of work, and I absolutely LOVE it because of this. Very nice work on the pose, as it is very devious, and provoking. The setting brings the character's personality to life, even more so. Annnd, the blood smear looks awesome! Great work.
