Eeeeh. Second 3D modelisation project ever. Not absolutely stunning, but I guess the finished result gets an okay from me. I just handed it in, so I don't know my mark on this. xDHad fun to design the fish, even had a crapload on fun with the textures, but the rest went down the hole, really. Quit a few mistakes are visible on there, and I've noted them down for our next project, not worries; I just don't have the time/will to fix them on this big guy.
(Didn't do the BG, the last exercice on this was to intergrate our fish in a given background. I only added the water ripples at the top to make it look a little more realistic!)

Ouuh, le rendu est bien! J'aime bien la modélisation et le mood général! L'oeil noir shiny est un bon choix. c'est lugubre!!
Un petit truc, j'aurais peut-etre juste mis une petite lumière pour faire un highlight vert-jaune désaturé dans le coin droit, en bas, comme si la lumière rebondissait sur le fond du marais. Ca ferait sortir les details de ta modélisation, elle a l'air super bien mais on perd quelques détails comme c'est plutot sombre.
Super travail, bravo! Bonne chance avec la moto ensuite

Pour ce qui est du back light sous le poisson, il y en a déjà une, mais je crois que j'ai trop baissé son intensité! À cause que c'était un blinn(et pas un phong E), la lumière qui rebondissait sur le poisson était méga diffuse et il avait l'air en plastique ; ; Mais je vais faire mieux avec la moto, promis xD

C'est vraiment pas évident... J'avais un backlight et il est finalement disparu rendu au compositing haha... Pas facile l'éclairage!

And anyway, you won't have much competition since I discovered I'm not as passionate about 3D as I am with 2D. I'm taking a long break from the program and getting my ass on the market, time to re-evaluate my place in the 3D universe xD I already know I lov modelising(?) and animating, though.
I'm sure you can do hundred times better now, too. I couldn't even do half of what you did with your undrai back when you did it!

Honestly I think I need to reevaluate my priorities too
with 3-D. I think i'm just over whelmed by learning a new
program so late in my educational career that i'm not
sure i'd be a good modeler and might be moving toward
my concept art goal more. But we'll see, I think the
stress of having 3 studios this quarter might be messing
with my head a bit XD
