The toning and low contrast of this piece help add to the vastness of the vista that you have excellently captured; it makes it seem as though the grasses and the hills go on forever. It feels like something out of a fantasy story of some sort due to the toning, too; the hyper-reality that is usually present in those stories is also around in this piece, to me at least. Great stuff.

i think you're great and we need more people like you on dA, then others could really learn something about their art. in the end it's all about communication, and without that - there's nothing, no progress too....

Really, though, I appreciate your words a lot. You're right, too: communication is the major point of creating artworks, and when there's no other communications as a result of this then all is pretty-much lost. Heh.
