Illustration for weekly challenge event for #Cirque-des-Reves ~ I missed last week's so I thought I would get this week's one done quickly. orz; (Also just noticed it somewhat fits with the event theme of Mumbai, lol)

Ansel is a man made of lies so this theme was pretty vast for him haha.
In Japan we have an old wives tale that we warn young children with about lying, saying that "Enma will rip out your tongue if you lie."
In Japanese folklore Enma is a sort of fearsome god that is associated with the underworld as well as the cycling of life and death - in India-derived Buddhism he is referred to as "Yamantaka". The two have some differences but they are relatively supposed to be the same God.
So attributing that Enma is someone who rips tongues out of the heads of people who lie, and the fact that Yamantaka looks much cooler than the Japanese version, that is how you get this picture from me...Ansel would probably just have to bite his own tongue out haha.

There are a few other things included but I will leave that up to interpretation. <_> Nothing is here to denounce or mock any religion so please know that i meant no offense if it does offend anyone? I think both cultures are quite beautiful.
