It is a very peculiar design and how the design of that fish was made. How each of the steps was made, how it evolves in visual material but maintaining the structure, the colors chosen and detailed in the final drawing, the way the outline is assembled, the details such as the scales are superb, etc...
I think it would be missing in the final drawing that has shading and lighting in the fish.
But that's fine. I liked your drawing and I liked the way you do it
One things for sure, for larger animals I'll have to add more shading. For the next small creature I'll be adding more shadows, thanks!

Honestly, THIS IS SUCH AN ADORABLE CHARACTER!! And to name it Marty ashafhd IT SEEMS SO FITTING
First of all, i love the dynamic shapes you used in this! Though a simple design, Marty's diamond-like shape and large triangular tail makes it so pleasing and appealing to look at
The sharp shapes used for the fins and tails compliment the softer, rounder shapes of its eyes and mouth
The colour choices too compliment each other and the white and yellow details are not overdone
The white markings and spots are realistically placed as well and adds colour interest to the character
The part around Marty's eyes seem like huge, round glasses, which makes you imagine a human-like version of Marty with big glasses, generally the scrawny and nerdy type with freckles but so adorable!! I could see Marty starring in its own animated movie
I also love how you opt for a more sketchy lineart and flat colouring instead of full rendering
There is already a decent amount of details in the lineart and a flat/ base colouring would make it pop out more as compared to full rendering
Overall this is a great character design and you have a great style

This piece looks pretty nice, a simple, slightly realistic and really well stylized drawing.
The anatomy of the fish is perfect and the use of simple forms give it a lot of personality, as do so the use of multiple mediums, which is quite dificult to do well, but that give a really peculiar result.
The lines are messy in a good intentional way, so it gives the piece that sketch look that a lot of people like.
The coloring is simple with no shadow, but still, the texture of the brush make it look pretty nice and not at all plain or boring, the colours are quite bright but not so much that it makes it hard on the eyes, in fact it goes perfectly with the fish, since goldfish usually have very vivid colouring.
I particularly like the little details of the scales and eyes, along with the whole messy look of the piece, I don't really have any bad thing to say about this piece, is very simple, nice and does what it's supposed to do.
