A fire-breathing monster that terrorized Lycia, the Chimera was the sister of many other infamous beasts, like the Sphinx, Cerberus, and Hydra. She was also the cousin of Pegasus, who ultimately aided Bellerophon in killing the Chimera._________
The goat head has to be one of the most awkward parts of any monster to get to look, for want of better words, natural.

I absolutely adore the style you use when drawing these unique takes on classic greek monsters. I have to ask, how do you usually go about creating these awesome oddities? Art wise, I mean.

i know right, this thing is annoying to draw because of the whole "goat in the middle" thing.
I went for them back to back on the head and the horns come through the skull of the lion.
Although i like this concept except for the lack of a serpentine tail, but i guess that's what you were going for, to be out of the usual.
