Description Based on one of countless critters I doodled as a kid. The jack-o'-lantern is the brains while the hulking bird-man is the muscle. If memory serves, they were you're typical Halloween monsters that come out every October to frighten people, in farms particularly, and presumably just snoozed the other 11 months away. Quite the life.

Childhood sketchbooks (and schoolbooks, daily planners, etc.) are a wondrous source for oddball characters.

Oddly I imagine it beats the crap out of scarecrows and swipes corn.

For some reason, it reminds me of Wounded Bird from Rango. Maybe I just don't know many crow characters.

Hulking bird-man isn't used enough as a monster.

Hulking bird-man with a jack-o'-lantern arm that gives him orders ups the ante quite a bit.

Well done!
