Surely the button in the center of the top row should be a pair: "Hogwarts Alumnus" for boys and "Hogwarts Alumna" for girls. Since it can be worn by only one person at a time, it needs to be singular, not plural.
On the other hand, they don't teach Latin at Hogwarts (though they should!), so only brilliant creative charmsmiths like the Half-Blood Prince would recognize that there's a problem.

I originally created the pin for a group of college students. They wanted the pins to refer to them collectively as a group instead of as individuals (They knew what they were getting into with the terminology
