So for our required reading over the summer, we have to read The Catcher in the Rye...

I have a summer reading list of a couple classics I want to read, but this wasn't on it yet -shrug-

SO OBVIOUSLY, I am already addicted and making fan art for it (I mean, I did read more than half of it the day I got it...)

Holden is... IDK He's an interesting character, but kind of just out of it... (HEY, like me!)

On a scale of YA main characters that I love (two specifically), he's right dab in the middle of Ponyboy and Alex...
(With the forgetfulness of Ponyboy and the antics of Alex - yet calmer... and less sociopathic... w/ a random temper)

(Update 9-28-16: I really hate that there is literally no other fanart of Holden with his hat backwards. That's the way he wears it the most in the book. And the hidden message behind that - catchers used to wear their hats backwards because of their masks... BAM! History/Literature lesson!!!!!)
