Species: Koala-girl (anthro female koala with supernatural powers)
Info: Melanie Rae Sanders or 'Mel' for short is a koala-girl and one of the protagonist characters in the DA-Verse, she cares about the well-being of other DA-Verse citizens but she tries not to be overprotective or to come across as a tiger mom type even if said person she's caring for is too stupid to understand that they're putting themselves in danger, she's misunderstood in the sense that she often gets vilified for even doing things like doing her job. She has brown hair and the traditional grey fur koalas have (she also wears a mainly blue ensemble, not to be confused with the Rights Fighters member Maxi, a werekoala with a red costume) and she and Eukie are around the exact same height, the two of them have been friends even before they first made their appearances in the DA-Verse and share many things in common including the following. They are experienced actresses and singers, and are also Pokemon trainers. In addition to this they have an obscene amount of characters and celebs they crush on and ship themselves with. Both very different but with a few ones they both share..like the two Coreys, Simon Cowell, Sly Stallone, George Clooney, Brendan Fraser, Danny Trejo, Bruce Campbell, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson and David Bowie. It is explained they both have super-strength and the ability to transform into various different monster versions of themselves and are gifted at trolling their enemies. Both of them are also honorary members of the Rights Fighters and can't stand people or monsters being corrupted or turned evil or being abused in general. Seeing someone they love and care for turning evil breaks their hearts, it especially breaks Mel's heart as she feels helpless and like she can't do anything. They're both normally shy and socially awkward but they're very energetic and love performing. Both of them are very protective of each-other and love to perform, they love to sing and dance together and perform musical numbers.

Mel is fully aware that she and all the other characters in the DA-Verse are fictional characters, she will often point out how stupid some people are for calling her out even though she isn't real in their world, if she is ever going against a particular DA-Verse villain, she is not actually going after the creator of said character but rather just their character as opposed to their portrayer, she and Abed have the same kind of love of movies and television and make a lot of references to both.
- Buffy Summers (Buffyverse). If Mel had a human form (which she sometimes does) it would be Sarah Michelle Gellar because of how similar she is to Buffy , both of them being 'slayers' and everything.
- Wayne Campbell (Wayne's World 1 and 2).
- R.L Stine (Goosebumps).
- Ash Williams (Evil Dead franchise). Mel has the same attitude to weird goings on as characters like Ash Williams and Jack Burton, she's always very sardonic and genre-savy, she is fond of quips and one-liners as if she was James Bond or an Arnold Schwarzenegger character and she's no-nonsense, she also has the same kind of attitude as Ash in general when it comes to putting up with other people's bullshit...she'll be polite but only right up until she's rude.
- Ellen Ripley (Aliens). She is pretty much Ellen as a koala-girl especially when she's in her badass mode.
- Carrie White (Carrie).
- Rafe Guttman (Bordello Of Blood). She and Eukie pretty much act like Ash and Rafe on a regular basis, especially when it comes to their attitude/sarcasm and how they react to people who are too stubborn to let either of them help.
- Felicia (Darkstalkers)
- Miss Piggy (The Muppets). You don't wanna mess with her when she is ticked off, because this is a koala who can kick your ass no matter what species you are and she can do a pretty mean set of martial arts moves, it's all part of being a superhero. Anyone who has ever attempted to touch her inappropriately or hit on her has been at the receiving end of her moves.
- She-Hulk (Marvel). There's a reason you shouldn't make her angry...mainly because one of her alter-egos is very much a marsupial version of Jennifer as She-Hulk, you don't wanna pick a fight with her.
- Peter Venkman (Ghostbusters). If you were to ask Mel which Ghostbuster she herself is most like, she would definitely say Peter...mainly because she has the kind of snarky personality as he does and pretty much is the wisegal of the group of friends she is, she considers her sarcasm to be the most effective weapon in her arsenal.
