I think this is very cool. I like the concept of the water being shaped like the dragon. I didn't see it right away though, maybe if it was a tad bit more obvious I think it would look better. But if you don't make it more obvious, it won't be bad, cuz it looks good as it is.
Now, the only thing that I think is distracting is the blue clod effect behind the water. Maybe if you use a softer dark blue gradient (in roughly the shape shape of the cloud thingies) I think the image would benefit more from it.
