Advice and support from professor Vermin on my discord

Common name: Dragon turtle

Genus: Terragodons

Size: 48 to 96 feet long(14 to 29 meters) and weighs 75 tons

Habitat: deep seas south east of dragaria, north west and east of Solania, and all around Agniria

Diet: carnivorous

Powers and abilities: shell armor, powerful sharp beak, tail, bulky head, steam breath

Element:

Elemental Weaknesses: lightning   and

Aggression: highly aggressive

Description: These giant aquatic Metafauna resemble sea turtle that once lived on earth, with the head and beak of a alligator snapping turtle. They have a long paddle like tail which helps them move through the water with those large front flippers. Dragon turtles are aggressive Metafauna that will hunt and eat anything that moves. When thier not hunting dragon turtles will visit reef cliffs to rest on where they allow reef fish to clean thier entire body, removing dead skin or cleaning thier beaks of raw meat and parasites. Through out their lives dragon turtles will go into shallow waters to find and swallow round stones, these stone help them crush and break down food.

Some Monterrian cultures hunt and kill these giant Terragodons for thier meat to make dragon turtle soup and poachers kill them to sell thier flippers, skin, and Shells in the black market. Hunting these giant shelled reptiles is no easy task due to the dragon turtle's defensive and offensive abilities.

Powers and abilities:

Bulky Head: Dragon Turtles use their heads offensively to headbutt into opponents, which can sometimes result in them being stunned, allowing the Dragon Turtle to either escape or opportunistically attack. There are some reports of Dragon Turtles breaking ships by headbutting into the side of the ship.

Sheer Beak: One of the main weapons of the Dragon Turtle is their sharp beak which they can use to bite down on prey and puncture its flesh and they will then rip and tear through it.

Suction feeding: When hunting they will lay upon the ocean floor and will wait for prey to swim close. Once in range of the Dragon Turtle, it will open its mouth and create a vacuum-like suction which will drag its prey into its mouth. If the prey is small enough it will simply be swallowed whole, however if the prey is larger they will bite down on it and will either chomp through it cutting it in half.

Tail: The Dragon Turtles tail is long and paddle-like, allowing it to move through the water at surprising speeds. The tail can also be used as a weapon to defend itself against rivals or other predators. Sometimes instead of waiting for prey the Dragon Turtle will chase after slow moving prey, using their tails to swim after them.

Breaching: Dragon turtles can breach themselves out of water similar to whales. They use their tails to repel themselves out of water and body slam on their opponent. Dragon turtles have been known to breach themselves on boats, causing them to sink.

Massive shell: These Metafauna use their massive shells as defensive weapons against predators, hunters and poachers. Their shells have spikes and are able to use them offensively to slash against the bellies of other sea monsters and boats as well.

Steam breath: Its most powerful attack is its steam breath attack. It stores water in specialized sacs in its body, then it boils the water and releases it, burning its prey. This ability is useful in hunting prey and defending itself.

General weakness:

Young age: young dragon turtles are vulnerable to predators and stay in shallow waters for a few years until they are old enough to go out to open sea.

Disease and viruses: They are susceptible to diseases and viruses

Cold blooded: Due to being cold blooded they susceptible to cold stunning if water temperatures drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. If they're cold stunned they can drown and are vulnerable to predators.

Beached turtles: Some Dragon turtles end up beached on shores, they are unable to back into the water due to their massive size and weight. Those who end up beached will die from dehydration, suffocate under their own weight, or eaten by scavengers.

Elemental weakness:

Lightning: Despite have little to no predators to fear, dragon turtles are vulnerable to the element lightning and lightning elemental weapons.

Ice: Dragon turtles are also susceptible to the element Ice as well. Ice elemental weapons are also effective on them.
