Description
This was my first time at Montreal's gay pride parade, that's not a mileau that I normally interact with. I do like things like parades, because sometimes what's happening their is more interesting . The crowds were immense, there was certainly more straights than gay people. So I was literally jammed in my spot, which means you better have your head on a swivel . If you can't get a decent passing shot at a gay pride parade, throw your camera away.

So there was this woman with those mirrored love sunglasses with her friends. One thing that really struck me a a hetrosexual was how open everyone was about who they loved. Montreal is, and has been for decades now, a gay friendly city, It's not unusual to see gay couples holding hands .

So I figured that her glasses were an appropriate centerpiece to what I was seeing, and she was quite photogenic.

Once I got home, I reviewed my collection of shots, and this one was my choice. I popped it into Snapseed to punch it up, and was pleased with the final image.
