Description
This beautiful gateway leads from the front courtyard out the the gardens from the present mansion at Tatton Park, completed circa 1716. Certainly a gate I wouldn't mind into my garden! This is my inspiration for my latest water colour, so please call back in the next week or so to see it in painted technicolour! Well spotted, I was too busy ogling the stone, it's that beautiful sandy orange colour, hoping I can replicate it when I paint it... If not I'll submit a colour photo instead! 😂
