Ive always been fascinated with ferns, and under lockdown we've been taking our daily exercise through two local woodlands which we are lucky enough to live within walking distance of. I love the way they start life curled so tight, their leaf formation emulating the patterns in ammonites. Add some lovely daylight and to me, it turns into something special. Taken on my Nokia3 smartphone.Related content

That reminds me, I've been going pregnant for a while with the idea of doing paintings + poetry. I have one about ferns that would lend itself to this treatment. Could I use your photo as a reference for this?
