Peeping out from Chirk Tunnel, on the Llangollen canal. This beautiful stone tunnel is over 200 years old and was part of the route the barges carrying Welsh slate would have used on their way to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Taken on my Nokia3 smartphone.Related content

Unfortunately there are no buildings in Australia that are old! lol There so many beautiful sights in Wales! I'm very jealous!
I saw a program a few years ago on the transportation system canals. Fascinating! The canals were so important for the UK!
Years ago I visited "Devils Bridge" Wales. It was beautiful and interesting!
