Eh, maybe you thought it was a cool idea to feature that red sun with rays spreading in the backgrounds, but it's the symbol of Japanese Imperialism and is regarded with as much disgust, if not less, as the Swastika in Asia.

Great work, although i do like some of your other stuff better. Do you do the "worn out" thing directly in illustrator or freehand or whatever yor vector software of preference is, or in some other software like photoshop?

this may be your best yet in my opinion, up there with "All the Children are Insane". what amazing texture and detail, yet so clean. I absolutely love your work, with motifs of plants and nature flowing, meandering lines, with powerlines, airplanes, resorts and cities trying to draw us out of it and into the fast lane.

i love your style, it's quite original and very well executed. just a question though, those japanese-style (actually i'm not sure where you got it from or if it was just self-conceived but it looks like the japanese sun flag) suns are interestingly consistent with each piece you make.. is there a reason?

for the sunrays, no particular reason for them, i think they add to the style im goin for. Many ppl seems to connect it to the japanese flag, which is understandable for this piece but not my intention. For the record i think there are many more places than the japanese flag you could find the sort of suns i have in my work.
