1 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Acts 2:38 (NIV)

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Sorry for the double-post but I just realised something;
the idea of a trade combined with the fact that this is a part of an art trade gives a different artistic dimension to this picture!

Thanks for trading with me, and for your interest in mustelids! Like I told you, your attention to anatomy and characteristics, plus your dedication to the topic is worthy what it takes to complete my part.
Your concepts are captivating (such as the rat reaching for the cherry), and your technique with digital colouring is delicate and determined- not too flowy. The softness and scenery of this gives off an atmospheric storybook-feel, combined with the fact that the characters are actually interacting. It's one of the type of drawings I love the most- those that tell a story, and make you ponder about what the character are telling eachother- and us. I already said this- but the dim colouring in earthly tones is really pleasant, and I've always been fond of earthly tones.
From the updates, I can tell you were willing to improve, but I hope you had fun, too.
Expressions and body language is a personal favourite aspect of character creation to me, and I my attention keeps lingering on Hewitt- you made his default face look extra good.

The background trees look a bit like bushes as they are a bit short/small in relation the the mustelids, though, but they add much harmony and setting to the composition. I don't really like giving critique, because I'm not any better. So feel free to pick on my backgrounds, should something bother your logic. Distance perspective is a tough challenge for many artists.

Thanks again- I'll get back to you if I can think of more to say.

I'm glad you like the finished product! I emailed you the full-size file, which is quite a bit larger than this one.

I agree about the trees in the background, they did end up looking smaller (or closer?) than I had intended, but hopefully the size of the mushrooms puts the size of the mustelids in perspective so they don't look giant!
