I'm putting this up as my official look what I can do sort of thing for this account.
backgrounds have all ways been challenging for me, but I decided all I really needed to do was sit down and get to work on it, and am so far loving the results.
sorry that it's still in the works but I couldn't help it I needed to share. ^^

XD I know how that feels I don't do them very offen. At first mostly because the thought of tree scared me. Dragon no problem, griffin maybe a little more trouble, tree oh god help me :A:

Yeah that's what I've started doing. Just working on some pencil sketch stuff right now. But I really want to paint. I can sketch in black and white pretty well rocks, tress etc, but turning them into color art... that's my hang up. But, practice makes perfect. You know... if I actually practice

have you ever tired using the soft light layer style its really fantastic for coloring black and white images.

Well this wip is off to a fantastic start! I love how ethereal the forest seems, and that it's giving the impression it really is alive.
