Description During her clandestine activities, Mother Gothel relates with these three flowers:
* Marigold (for her Pain)
* Lobelia (for Hatred)
* Birds-foot Trefoil (for her Revenge)

The emblem on the dairy is a Daffodil, which stands for "New Beginnings", the Dairy detailing the start of her quest for revenge against Flora.

These three flowers actually symbolise these things as flowers in the Language of flowers ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant_sy… & en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language… ).

If you are a fan of the TV series, "Bones" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bones_(T… ) , and you have seen episodes 1 & 12 ("The Future in the Past" & "The Corpse on the Canopy") of season 8 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bones_(s… ), & episode 4 ("The Sense in the Sacrifice") of season 9 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bones_(s… ), features the symbolic language of flowers ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant_sy… & en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language… ).

In "The Future in the Past", Temperance Brennan uses a Snowdrop cutting ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdrop ) to tell best friend Angela Montenegro to "have hope", they having been using the language of flowers to stay in contact whilest Brennan was on the run. Christopher Pelant, having figured the means of communication, gives Brennan a Marigold, meaning Pain.

In "The Corpse on the Canopy", after having, (as the title says), left a corpse on the canopy of Jack Hodgins' and Angela Montenegro-Hodgins' bed, (having drugged them beforehand), Christopher Pelant leaves bloodied Lotus blossom petals in Michael-Vincent's crib, the Lotus being a symbol of Rebirth, letting the Jeffersonian team know that he's back.

In "The Sense in the Sacrifice", Christopher Pelant leaves a Monkshood cutting with Agent Hayes Flynn's body, telling the Jeffersonian team that "a foe is near".
