Sally has always been a strong positive character. She's compassionate as a female, against her tomboyish attitude and military upbringing as a fighter, but also charismatic as a leader and intelligent with her computer skills. One can't blame her for feeling torn about wanting to have a simple life with the one she loves, but can't put passion above the fact that there is a war going on. You did beautifully to capture so much of what the fans love about Sally as a whole person.
