This was my favorite ride @ the P.N.E. in Vancouver as a child! Nice shot...that's pretty much how I remember it ~ when I was being swung ~ only I was bad and used to twist my chains for added spin! Nice composition and great shot of the lights in motion!

I love carnival lights as well! The newest thing I've tried is making multiple exposures of the same ride and animating it! Really conveys that sense of dizzyness!
I really like the composition of this shot! My eyes are drawn up the lights on the collumn and then kind of explode out to the top and side while trying to follow the lights underneath the canopy! (My eyes sometimes work in reverse! I think most people would start at the top and be drawn to the collumn and down!

This is my favorite of the carnival pictures. I love the way you got the small piece of stationary anchoring at the bottom and the rest is moving and bluring, it's great!

...the apature on my XTH-3000 Speed Focus LP23.SL713(carry the 9) LensMaster Series II would've been able to dramatize the full essence of the resolution i'm sure you were trying to visualize in the depth of this composition.
clearly you've fallen short in conceptualizing the intended objectivity of the subject you were shooting and should've
utilized a boom crane lift as well as maybe set up the lighting rig from the last maddonna tour....you call yourself a
photographer???
