Ehehe! I can pick your work out of a crowd. It's distinctive. Your geometry and balance astound me. My lines writhe of their own accord.

Well, Karen, that nice of you to say.
Thanks for taking the time to mention this to me.
Allow me to point out, that this is a collaboration, with my friend

I saw that. You seem to collaborate frequently. Do you draw the line art and they color, or is there another method?

(I also visited their gallery and explored a bit. I'll probably go back when I have more time to think about the images, because there was a lot there.)

MOONDOGPROD1 In reply to byKarenRenee [2010-07-22 16:55:01 +0000 UTC]

No real structure.
I will color a fractal, and add some linework.
I'll make a drawing, and others massage it, back and forth..
So, we use email to send files back and forth.
I have done two-somes, and three-somes.
One starts, signs and emails, the second person adds their personality to the piece, signs, and emails, if there is a third person, they wrap it up, and post.
We all sign by hand, or I add the text of each artists "dA ID" to the final product, with my Corel software.
The others can download and add the collab to their site.
It's really simple, jepg files, compatible and fun.
Now, I may tweek the sharpness and color, in the end, but that is mentioned in my site.

It is fun, and there is, of course, no time constraints.
Maybe one day we could start one...?
God bless you and your family...
I'd love to hear that you have started your book!

byKarenRenee In reply to MOONDOGPROD1 [2010-07-23 22:07:20 +0000 UTC]

Well, at this point any attempts toward a book would be made up of poetry or art or both... perhaps one day I shall attempt once again to write something both long and cohesive, but for now it is enough to focus on art and poetry.

And, well... why don't you start something when you have the time, and send it my way for embellishment? It would be an enjoyable challenge, I think.

Grace and peace be unto you...

Wonderful!
You will proceed on this endeavour, I feel this in my heart.
Certainly, you possess the talent, and the passion.

Okay, I will do that.
We'll do a collab.
I WILL notify you when I start, and I will give a few days notice when I am about to send the file.
It will be a .jpg file, and it will be MAX 8-1/2" x 11"
I have you email, right?
God bless you, my friend.

It will be entertaining. Thanks.

Hi!
The note system will be fine as we proceed, just to keep in touch a wee bit.
As far as the file I send you to work on, it won't be reday for a liitle while, I am not sure when my other work will be completed, but we'll be in touch, okay?

No problem. If I relax so much that I forget about it, I'll be reminded when you contact me. BTW I made the full view of :thumb144487634: which I think is now large enough to play with.

Oh, I'll get to adjust your thumb drawing tonite.
I'll put it in my scrapbook, send you a note, and then you can view.

The collab sketch "shouldn't" be too long, I have an design idea, at least.

I thought would like to fill in more design to it, but we agreed to leave it like this.
is quite gracious, and I respect my collaborator's views.

Great to see something new from you. This is amazing drawing. You've excellent combined round and ruler straight lines spiced by a compass drawn circles. Missing frame at the right side is a fun detail.

Is it difficult when there is two persons doing the same picture?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MOONDOGPROD1 In reply to SoDream [2009-07-17 23:09:40 +0000 UTC]

Well thank you SoDream.
We appreciate the compliments.
My digital artist friend created the outline, I mean the circles and some straight lines, and curves. We use no compasses.
I am the traditional half.
I added the birds and the color.
I have a straight edge, tho.
I have had no problems whatsoever with any one of my collaborators.
They are all unique and cooperative, and I love all of them.

I think this concept is really cool, and creative.

Yeah, we like it, too.
Looks like birds loose in the mall.
Got a lifetime of ideas, no probs, our new collab is looking fine, so far..

Saw the shuttle launch "live"
Now I'm hearing 'foam' from the external fuel tank possibly damaged the Endeavour.
Shuttle flights are grounded now, dammit.
Thanks 4 writing, MD~

MOONDOGPROD1 In reply to hesterkin [2009-07-17 23:17:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Sarah's the one to unify the "just right of center", and blue dog democrats.
What gets me is she is pounded by the mainstream media.
Where are the feminist groups when she is dismantled with tabloid crap?
The liberal weasels are damn afraid of Palin's popularity, and I hope all goes well for her.
Did I tell you I was a registered Independent?
Geesh, I should have a syndicated column.
Back to our drawing.
Have a great weekend, Franko!

Fox will rerun the shows this weekend, I hear.
