I hope this doesn't detract from it's appeal - but I realized later that I had drawn the upper surface of the wings when it should have been the lower...of course, the inside of the wings usually have fewer, scruffier feathers, and bald spots, so maybe this was better.

Unless it's on the i9slands of New Zealand where there is a parrot that all the bright colors and patterns are on the underside of the wings, and the t9ops of the wings are dull and scruffy-looking.
