I think it's shopped, it's feet aren't in the grass and the lighting on the horse is different from where it should be judging by the shadows, which the horse doesn't have. Plus the on the mane to the arse the pixels don't blend well enough with the background.

Actually, it's the original horse from the photo, she is in the air as she runs. She had no shadow in the photo.

I'm not an expert on horses, but that leg looks like it landed and is getting ready to push itself further, meaning the grass would have to at least have an apparent shadow from the hoof, as the lighting on it's back would imply.

after seeing the original, I believe the shadows more, however the hoof still seems a bit off.

The horse has all four feet in the air. She isn't pushing off the ground with it...but the light makes it so there's no shadow. That's why it looks weird.
