So. This STARTED as an extra derpy drawing of Guard Captain Vidinos, the jerk turian from the Pinnacle Station DLC in the original Mass Effect. You remember him? The guy who was freaked out about keeping the high score? Yeah, well. I was going to have him look derpy, shout "I love to score!" and we were all going to have a cheap laugh and then go home.

At some point he started looking less derpy and I'd spent an appreciable amount of time on him, and I suddenly did not have the heart for the cheap laugh. I suddenly had an idea for a fantastic comic and started rendering other panels. Midway through doing that, I realized that the plot of this comic made no sense without a lot of extra setup and explanation, and at that point it was going to be way too convoluted and overworked to actually be funny.

It's still an OK drawing of Vidinos, though, so it's not a total loss. Here he is... standing around! Looking defiant! Why not!

I think I can still make the comic to properly skewer him later in a simple, one-panel affair. You'll get yours, jerkface!
