Description
It's a friend's character I decided to draw as a Shi'Rah back in 2005. I left the art at her place.
I got it end of last year 2006, and didn't remember it till now.

(I had doodled and roughly coloured by hand in 2005.
So I scanned it just now and photoshopped the extra greys where I was missing colour. He is an almost true albino, save for his rich red markings. His eyes are even white.)

She visited recently and quite by surprise said I could keep the Shi'Rah as a character seeming as I adored it so much.

YAY!!

And so Tamei'ena'leine is born! (Taa-maye-eena-line)
I will definitely be drawing more of him.

Personality:
He is a Shi'Rah singer, with a lovely soft spoken talking voice.
Generally shy, he deals with anxiety and battles feelings of low self-worth due to childhood bullying and absent parents.

History:

Tamei was born to loving well to-do parents, who had eagerly anticipated his arrival, but as he grew older that affection grew to distrust and coldness, as he did not develop any colours as he began to mature out of kit-hood.
Instead he was handed to a kit-nurse to be cared for in their stead, and so the connection to his parents were lost, and replaced by his devoted carer. Who sang him fables and assured him he was still beautiful, she taught him kindness and compassion. And dried his tears in her mane when he came home from kit-school.

At first ostracized by other young Rah for not getting his maturity colours the same as the others did, he gradually overcame his anxieties and bullies by becoming a skilled singer.
Eventually his staying colours came in, surprising many by it's subdued expression on his coat (A very faint pink). Rah often whispered behind his back wondering if he had somehow earned a curse by the Deities, his colours in exchange for his otherworldly voice.
After running away from his home kingdom during Burn-time, he received burns over most of his body. A hermit healer found him and nursed the singer back to health. The skills of the other were able to bring back his fur and feathers, however the damage to his skin made the pigmentation on his markings darker and more noticeable Red. A small blessing he felt.
Not having felt the kindness of another before like the tenderness of the healer, he fell quickly and deeply for the Rah, who was coloured not very unlike himself. Where he was red, the other was blue.
Sadly they lost touch after parting ways, and Tamei has never forgotten the kindness of the hermit stranger.
