Almost a year and I still haven't technically made an "official" reference of my own dumb OC, Moongaze. Mostly because I've let you guys decide what she looks like and in doing so I have gotten quite the variety of versions of Moongaze that I have enjoyed very much!However, I figured it was high time I provided a reference of her for those that ask about it. Even so, her colors tend to vary depending on the surrounding scenery - sometimes her outline needs to be darker, other times lighter as shown here. It's hard being a near-gray-scale pony!
The short, spiky tail you might have seen her sporting in the past is the tail she had as a young filly (or in her male form, which I've never really had a reason to have until I got involved with
)So, many thanks to everyone who has helped develop Moongaze into her current appearance. Couldn't have done it without ya!

(oh and do you have any suggestions on tutorials for vectoring if found a couple but it takes me a good couple hours to make one so I don't think I'm going about it the right way)

A couple hours is typically what I spend on each vector I make, so if you're getting good results I'd say you're going about it just right! If you're looking for a good tutorial, the best one I'm aware of is made by Blackm3sh. It's very similar to how I make mine.

Cool I will have to look that up - not sure if from con, school, or work picked up a nice cough think I'm about over it but - Oh wait it's officially my B Day XD great 28 now - I would forget these things if my Twin didn't call me up to remind me the instant it happens. Oh well getting better have to read two books for home work and now just wasting my time vectoring ponies.
-Yeah I understand the money thing I'm staying afloat but had to kill some projects like rebuilding my truck to do so. Hopefully they get a date for BronyCon 2013 up pretty soon so I can plan out how to get there and hopefully you two can do the same. Can't tell you the number of con invites I've turned down, get a mascot level suit all a sudden everyone wants you XD.

If not BronyCon maybe another one closer to where ever it is you're living now, I drove to BronyCon with 3 other people packed in a car the ones on the west coast I can't afford to make right now. And yes the VS and RD suits are fun, and in all reality not to hard to make for someone with sewing skills sure beats buying them.

Nice - I've just started at CSU (Cleveland State) so I've yet to start a brony group there was kinda hoping one existed but looks like I will be starting one of my own. Heck I've slowly converted my coworkers why not fellow students

ITS ABOUT BLOODY TIME YA MADE A PROPER REF FOR MOONGAZE YA LAZY SOD!!!!!! although did you try giving her a darker outilne (like a near black shade) to see how that would look at all?

I did, and it does work in some cases when against a light background. Put her on a dark background with a dark outline and she disappears though

Finally xD I was kind of waiting for you to make you're own vector of Moongaze :3 Looks awesome, although the lighter than rest outline kind of goes against the err.... let's say natural looks xD

Moongaze has a pretty design. her mane is shaped like a crescent, which goes well with her name. however, i blame the lighter outline that isn't visible in a lighty background (like here, actually). which is not a good idea. sure you'll never see a pony in the show with a outline lighter than her body colors and i understand why...

No, I know - for a lighter background her outline would be darker but usually she is on a darker background so I have her with the lighter outline for visibility.
