When he heard about his friend Seth being captured by the empire in Valsk, Ebony desperately tried to force himself out of Sarain's shop and make his way there to perhaps help but alas he did not go very far. Ophelia, one of his "so called" demon who in turn was a parasite that fed off of his good self, began to feel the effect of her parasitic grip. His exhaustion and his mind withered until he could not feel anything anymore.

One of citizens on the streets saw his clothes from Song-lu, branded him as part of the empire and attacked him only to be killed instantly by his parasite, giving Ebony his first kill.

Thanks to Sarain who brought him back inside, left him only for a moment so that Ophelia could do her final job.

Consuming whatever is left of the good boy from the inside -

It resulted Ebony to become a dangerous man.
