I can definitely see your point! Since Hotaru is depicted in the manga as cyborg and is hooked up to wires in one image, I decided that I wanted to juxtapose the wires with a background evoking the blood that her body has probably lost as her father "fixes" her body piece by piece. On the other hand, if you think the style of this one really suits the Heartsnatchers, I might go ahead and try my hand a few similar images of them! Thanks for the suggestion!

Hotaru is a very dark character, but I wouldn't necessarily place in such a seemingly bloody surrounding. She's more heartbreakingly tragic, than she is morbid. Remember she is a good character with a devastating history. Your welcome for the suggestion!!
