I'm honored to have a print of this gorgeous art in my hands after meeting you at Fanime. I'm the one that had the Mokona plushie and the "Big Doggy" shirt. :3

Wow that;s quite impressive! Cool that you combined two art mediums into one ^^. However I wonder is there a special reason why you didnt buy the airbrush from copic but a standalone airbrush system?

Two ABSes and two traditional airbusches.. wow!
Hmm do you use the windson compressor which comes with the ABS? and is it even able to mount another compressor onto the Copic system? So your basically saying because the colours are transparent you cant put lighter colours on top of dark ones? Isn't that something that can be simply solved with just waithing a bit for the colours to dry?

ABS? My traditional airbrushes are Badger (an out dated brand now XD ) Unfortunately the copic airbrush cannot be used with a compressor, ya just have to keep purchasing air can after air can. D= I've looked very hard to find an adapter that would let me hook it up... (if you ever find one, please tell me! X3 )
Exactly, if you're working with transparent colors, you cannot spray light over dark and have it show. Sometimes you can get a hue that blends into your dark color, but copics are not paints. You just pop the marker into the system and go (they also don't come in white :/ ). Have you used a traditional airbrush or copic airbrush?

ABS stands for Air Brush System its an abbreviation used by copic. I know for a fact that Copic has three kinds of ABS's for sale. The one you bought in all likelyhood was probably ABS-2. Like you said it only works with an air can. However if you had bought ABS-1 you would have got the Air can + adapter for a compressor.
The ABS-3 is only the handle + adapter for the compressor. However you can also just buy the adapter singly. That's what I've seen on the germain copic website.
I haven't used any airbrush system so far I am just interessted in it at the moment because you can create such cool effects with it. But I think I will put it on hold for now. Its to big of an investment for me right now consindering I just bought 35 copic markers.

I think I would consinder buying the ABS-3 system Which has an air can of about 40-45min to play with it. And if I do infact like and enjoy it I will buy the compressor. But is already put on hold because I am low on cash at the moment.
