Description Magdalena (Magdalene)

The original Line art for Magdalena. It's done in regular ball point pen and scrap paper...I was just sketching while waiting for my friends. Anyway, they were taking too long so the shading became too complicated before I knew it.

In case you're wondering what's with the theme, it's a Filipino Baro't Saya dress (thus the butterfly sleeves) complete with fan and pearls.

Thanks! The cross hatching part most of the time to draw this because I found it difficult to get the right fading effect. I'm glad you liked it.

I must say I think I like this better in sketch form, it's more intense than the colored version I think it's bloody awesome this way.

Ballpoint pen is so hard to use. This is truely a masterpiece in it though, every detail is so well thought out, even on the fan. Beautiful!

Thank you so much! Yes, one bad thing thing about ballpoint pen is that it blots a lot too. Although I might have gotten used to it because I draw while in class all the time.
