I have been planning this for a very long time,but I wasn't inspired enough for a new concept, until now.
So here it is! My new species. Just like the Vampire Wraiths, inspired by Legacy of Kain series and it's awesome world.
And this is a Shade. ^__^
Shades - yes, those misty soul-less and blood-less creatures that wold attac Kain and Raziel in Defiance and SR2. Of course, those who played LoK wold easily notice that my concept has nothing to do, visually, with this species, it's totally original. I really wanted a race based on the back-story and abilities of Shades from LoK, an ennemy race for the VW! They're both similar with the VW and completey opposite.
So this is for the thinking part.
Now for the drawing part: sqwee I think I like it. I have to do some more thinking about clothes and style and horns... but the main idea is here

your lineart is stunning. and the coloring you posted was brillant as well. your imagination stirs such vivid creatures. small q. for the detailed linearts arts are you using different size brushes or weights, like 40% vs.100%?

I use a 4px brush (or 5px maximum) for outer lines and a 3px brush for small details

Ну у меня тут причина в том, что у меня кошмарно тормозит компьютер. тое сть, я просто не в стостоянии сделать лайнарт нормлаьный. Это кошмар просто. Линию одну грузит.... в общем чаю попить успею

i dub thee- goddess of detail.
this took SEVERAL minutes of looking at to fully appriciate all the intricate little details. you really are amazing you know. the feet and the laced up corset thing are my absolute favorite parts of the whole picture. there are a few things i don't quite understand i think...that would help if it were colored.

well it's probably just my being a dope and not understanding it-
but i see the bent leg- is pretty skinny- even near the top-
then the other leg goes up into the uh...fan blade looking thing-
and there is a curved line inbetween them (the two fanblades) which LOOKS like the back line of the leg...and THAT would make the leg wide at the top- like a chicken
- and it threw me off because the legs were totally different
i hope that makse sense

Umm well both legs go wider towards the hip..I guess the suit is confusing because it covers most of the legs in an uncomfortable for the eye way, but since I have myself drawn the legs first, and then covered them with the suit I dunno what could be wrong... the line you see between the "blades" is the end on the hip - and beginning of the right buttock, and the left one is right behind it coz the body is in a "profile" position, and only the head is 3/4 turned to us... I dunno if it makes things more clear
