FoE's counterpart to Tranquility Lane.

The Changelings were allies of Equestria for two reasons: If any single Changeling aided the Zebras then all levels of governance would be in jeopardy. The ponies had one thing the Changelings wanted: A princess who freely generates love magic. All records of the princess and the changelings were locked away until the war was over.

After the bombs fell the Changelings rushed into Stable 124, which contained machines built as part of the truce between Chrysalis and Celestia that could transfer Cadances love magic into the changelings pods, feeding them for however long they would need to stay. Chrysalis never made it to the Stable alive, and if a new Queen isn't produced the species will die, and without ponies in the Stable Cadance couldn't be converted or they would all starve. Instead, they waited.

Almost 200 years later a lone wanderer discovers the top secret Stable hidden under a wagon station, and is forcibly aided by the automated systems into one of the pods. She finds herself waking up in Canterlot long before the fall of Equestria, during an attack she never knew had occured. Chrysalis captures her, and gives her a task: make the cross-eyed pony cry.
