There aren’t knights in shining armor who will come to the rescue
Those are only in books
But we read those books and they give us hope
They seem so perfect and wonderful
We wish those were our reality
We start to hate our world because it doesn’t have those things
We wish more than anything that this wasn’t our reality
But we forget that even those stories have their flaws
The bad guys loose and the good guys win, right?
The Prince and Princess live happily ever after, don’t they?
Maybe they do, but what if it isn’t really that easy?
Good guys win and bad guys loose
But who decided the bad guys are the bad guys?
Don’t even the worst of us deserve a second chance?
According to those stories we all love so much, no.
In those stories if you make one mistake it’s all over
One single error and you are a bad guy
And in the stories the bad guys always loose
And who decided true love was only for Princes and Princesses?
They meet once and fall in love
We want this to be real because no one likes having their heart broken
But love at first sight is nothing more than infatuation
The Prince falls in love with the girl the second he sees her, but when he sees her all he sees is what she looks like
He doesn’t fall in love with her at all, he simply falls in love with her beauty
But is that even love?
Of course you can’t only blame the Prince because the girl is also to blame
She sees him for his title
But what love is in a title?
If you take away the girl’s beauty and the man’s title, then what would happen?
Well then no one would write about them.
Why?
Because they wouldn’t even see each other then.
Now I ask you, is this world truly so wonderful seeming?
Do you really want to live in a place like that?
A place where love is nothing more than infatuation and titles?
A place where there is no forgiveness for your mistakes?
No second chances?
